Zeca Afonso e os eunucos
Muitas canções à solta de Zeca , por altura da efeméride, mas algumas incomodam ainda muito, são mesmo esquecidas... como "Os eunucos", tão infelizmente actual e tão intemporal... é que eunucos há-de haver sempre, tudo parece indicar! Há uma preferência pel"Os vampiros" talvez por se achar que são os outros sempre que comem tudo... Com "Os eunucos" é mais difícil escapar ao espelho da consciência... Os eunucos que estão sempre "de bem com tudo", os que dizem "eu cá dou-me bem com todos", "eu cá não gosto de tomar partidos", "eu cá não sou conflituoso", esses que afirmam que estão de bem com todos, para nunca terem de tomar posição que os possa vir a prejudicar, estão bem sobretudo com os tiranos enquanto "os mais são cortados às fatias", enquanto "os mais ardem em torresmos", ...hoje e agora é assim! Muitos desses eunucos prestam homenagem ao Zeca, na certeza de que a sua voz se calou...

I need some help to understand all that. Whi is ZECA ? When was he freed. What was the relation between Zeca and a ore more eunuchs ?

ZECA is the main singer of the revolution of april 1974...last century as i realise. He never sold himself. He continued sining after revolution, and a lot of people hated him because he was very corrosive with his songs. He died in 87 with MS. Now it the year of the 20 years memmorial of his death,, now everybody claims to be an admirer... He wrote a song called "eunucos" where he shows how the cowards, people without a spine , without guts are after all the supporters of the tyrans, the eunuchs sell their fathers if necessary to keep their asses safe and have their carreers untouched or even built on other people misery, while other people are burned in the fire, the coward and opportunists simply care about themselves : they support and acclaim the tyrans... And i see too many eunuchs and tyrans everywhere in this country... Portugal a democracy? I sincerely dont know anymore!
